As a team, Carl, Scott, Meir and I have been diligent to worship God each morning, discuss the Word as well as communicate about issues that arise. As you know our worship times are the hub a and strength of the team. As Nehemiah states, it is necessary to have a trowel(paintbrush) in one hand and a sword(His Word) in the other. We clearly averted attacks of the enemy attempting to penetrate our unity with strife and division. Jerusalem is like a pressure cooker. We really have to encourage and care for one another.
People have been coming in through the gates as usual and many lively and encouraging conversations have unfolded as we comfort Zion.
This fall we will return to complete the mural artwork. There will be other details to attend to finish the mural. Then on to preparations to teach volunteers how to give tours both of the mural and the stories of those buried in Alliance International Cemetery. Scott, Carl and I will be involved in this work as well as be present to give tours.
I hope you enjoy the photos of the new work.
